Welcome. My name is Stacey, and I am currently a free land dance teacher and student still furthering my career in dance. This section is just a bit about me and how Dance Parties came about. I have trained in contemporary, ballet for 4 years at college (Motherwell College and Dundee College) and 15 years jazz, tap, commercial and highland dance. During my time studying I had the opportunity to go out on placement at teach in various primary schools throughout North Lanarkshire for North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) and Glasgow. During this time, I realised that teaching children was something I was passionate about, as watching a child progress and have fun is a wonderful feeling of achievement. Once my placement was over I began volunteer work with NLC for around a year, teaching after school clubs, health days and holiday camps. After doing this, I saw a gap in the children entertainment market, which is when I came up with Dance Parties by Stacey Jardine. I saw how much children loved to dance, and thought why not have fun dancing outside a dance class environment and with all your friends having fun!
